A luxurious and deeply nourishing face & body moisturizer made with locally sourced grass-fed & finished tallow; traditionally used to help repair, restore and protect the skin barrier with its age-defensive antioxidants, nourishing bioavailable vitamins (A, B12, E, K + D) and rejuvenating fatty acids.
Remedy was crafted to help promote healthy, revitalized skin, naturally. This formula was made with a velvety tallow-base, a restorative botanical blend of sage, rosemary, chamomile + yarrow infused for 6+ weeks in golden jojoba oil, along with a small amount of organic extra virgin olive oil for extra hydration.

• Sage: We adore this herb for so many reasons! It’s an astringent, which naturally tones + tightens maturing skin, it contains anti-inflammatory properties that minimize bacterial acne & eczema flare ups, rich in antioxidants that help combat free radicals (the sneaky culprits behind fine lines/wrinkles) and it’s packed with vitamins A, C, and E that naturally stimulate skin cell renewal.

• Rosemary: Another incredibly aromatic herb packed with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. Helps balance oil production and even complexion.

• Chamomile: Contains high levels of flavonoids that help relieve inflammation, antioxidants that soothe irritations + redness, and antimicrobial properties that are helpful with promoting healthier, brighter skin. Adds a subtle sweetness.

• Yarrow: Well-known for its ability to promote wound healing and calm inflamed skin. Its natural antibacterial & antiseptic properties can help lessen redness & irritation caused by skin issues like eczema, psoriasis, and acne.

Tallow, a form of rendered fat (beef suet), is a wildly successful ancient skincare remedy, used primarily to help replenish, protect and restore the skin barrier at a cellular level.
It is an all-natural, non-comedogenic, versatile moisturizer, known for promoting healthier, softer, more radiant skin, with just a pea-sized amount.
As its composition closely resembles the natural oils (sebum) produced by our skin, tallow is highly absorbable and deeply nourishing, calming yet incredibly effective. It acts as a restorative emollient, packed with essential fatty acids like CLA + stearic acid, rejuvenating antioxidants, anti-inflammatory properties, and bioavailable vitamins A, D, E, and K.
Benefits: May help improve the following skin concerns: dryness, cracked heels, inflammation + redness, fine lines, scarring, discoloration, acne, and eczema.
Quality matters: We take pride in sourcing our beef suet from a beautiful, local ranch here in Durango, Colorado that practices regenerative farming, ensuring a positive impact on the environment. Their pasture-raised cattle live their best lives on a clean diet of grasses and plants, free from hormones, antibiotics & pesticides.

The process: We meticulously dry-render the beef suet in-house to form tallow; meaning we remove the impurities without the use of salt/water, melting/straining it by hand, to preserve its natural, nutrient-dense form.
*Many other companies choose to use a wet-rendering method that involves salt and water to essentially cleanse the suet to remove any odors; we find this process to be too harsh in that it can potentially strip the tallow of its amazing benefits.
Botanical-infusions: In an effort to strengthen the skin-healing aspects of each product, we blend our tallow with organic, plant-based oils that have been slowly infused with various botanicals for ~ 6 weeks; the herbs and flowers we use are the highest quality, organic, homegrown or wild-harvested, and are specifically added for their incredible properties. 
Small-batch production variation: While we have the best intentions, and do our best to keep each batch nearly identical, no two cattle are alike, nor are our botanical-infusions; color, consistency & scent may vary due to the unique and natural differences in each handcrafted batch. 
We craft slow-made + small-batch skincare to help heal our bodies & minds, naturally.

Use, Care & Disclaimer:

Use & Care: We recommend you do not leave our tallow-based products in hot environments, like parked cars or backpacks; since tallow is a natural animal fat with a low melting point it, it can soften easily and change texture if it re-solidifies. Please be sure to store our products in cool, dry areas, and they will last for approximately one year; room temperature (72 degrees & below) is best, and you may also refrigerate during hot weather. 
To ensure longevity and effectiveness of our tallow-based products, please avoid the following: Exposure to humid environments + water due to possible contamination, direct sunlight as it may accelerate spoilage, and extreme temperature fluctuation which may cause the tallow to soften and re-solidify, potentially resulting in an undesirable grainy texture. 
Caution, safety + age-guidelines: Our tallow-based products are for external use only. Spot-test is always recommended. Please review and become familiar the ingredients in our products, especially in relation to our products with **menthol** or if you have any allergies / sensitivities. Generally, most herbal products are not recommended for children under the age of 3, and products made with essential oils should be used with caution for anyone under the age of 7; unless stated otherwise in Product Description.
